Tiring physically and mentally but an important experience
The good thingsFriends are amazing, the managers I've met are really nice and patient. Salary based on hours you work, and if you work >120h a month you get a high wage for what's normal in regular restaurants.
The challengesRush hours are killer but that's what expected in any F&B job. Sometimes there are too many workers and you don't hit the hours you want to hit.

Face paced job, Slow career progress
The good things- time was flexible for certain positions: own time own target - management listen to your suggestion/advice/idea - company is not stingy on necessary expenses, which ease your execution - top management does not mircomanage
The challenges- extremely slow progress in terms of career advancement and salary increment, even if you are the top performer - top management are indecisive, it is obvious that they do not understand their objectives in many things - decisions are forever changing and they expect you to keep up - no SOP especially for inter-departments communications.

Learn a lot and great colleagues
The good thingsLearning new things and apply to future pathways. Manager is willing to teach and explain step by step. All colleagues are best and willing to help when you face some problems. We also hang out together after working hour to gain our relationship and bound. Manager is not too strict at least must complete all tasks on time and before the deadline given by manager. There will be a gap to relax after month end closing.
The challengesNo challenges if you follow the instructions giving from manager. But a bit confuse when first time using the accounting software. When you clear you mind and try to understand the procedure, there will be not an issue. Sometimes have to talk with suppliers or customers.
