Engineering intern for 3 monthsThe good thingsThe work environment was positive and everyone knows each other well. I was treated like an adult and entrusted to do my own things. People are treated like adults, no micromanaging over discipline. People do actually use their office leaves. Colleagues help each other out at work and share knowledge. No one was kiasu to the detriment of work. My coworkers are always willing to give me new learning opportunities.
The challengesKeeping up pace with my full time coworkers, finding meaningful ways to help them as I am inexperienced, learning how to do works on my own over time, finding opportunity to visit customer sites as a lot of refrigeration plants are off limit for intern.
