Very chaotic, they outsource as much as possible to low cost centre in India
    The good thingsNice office envronment
The challengesVery chaotic, they outsource as much as possible to low cost centre so you need to take calls from low centres or make calls to them regularly.Ok if you enjoy that work environment.

A company with promising opportunities but poor continuity and communication during the recruitment process.
The good thingsInitially, I was impressed with the communication and professionalism from the recruitment team. Being shortlisted for a major project gave me a positive impression of the company and their potential opportunities.
The challengesAfter the original recruiter left, communication ceased. The new recruitment officer didn’t review my resume, and my follow-up applications received no response. Despite multiple emails and phone calls, I received no feedback or explanation. It felt like I was completely disregarded without cause.

I finally found the company I want to grow old with.
The good thingsKent is not like other companies. When they say their people and culture are important they actually mean it.
The challengesI don't think it's a company issue more of a 'Project Work' issue, it's hard work, long hours, a lot of meetings but the pay off.

Lack of recognition for boundaries and overworked and underpaid
The good thingsSome managers who have an understanding of mental health and not burning out people
The challengesI was consistently underpaid and overworked, often expected to take on tasks and responsibilities that fall far outside the typical scope of an administrative role. These added duties not only exceed my job description but also reflect a lack of recognition for the boundaries.

Honestly they say the right things st hiring but it's smokes and mirrors, psychosocial hazards at an all time high.
The good thingsStill thinking I can't even say the money is good given you work 17hours over a standard week and only get 20% of your hourly rate per hour. Better to just go have two jobs
The challengesLack of management support, lack of adequate resources

    Very poor communication
The good thingsNothing at all. I only applied for a job with them and their behaviour turned me off ever wanting to be employed by them.
The challengesApplied for a role through an agency who couldn't give any feedback as a he was getting none. After a couple of months, informed through agency that they employed someone from overseas as he had worked with one of the GM's previously. No loyalty to Australaians at all. They keep advertising for supply chain roles which I think is reflective of who they did employ in the role I applied for.

No execution plan, therefore continuous fire fighting. Management lacked knowledge of Tier 1 construction operations, project run as a large overhaul not an EPC project. People driving the project lack experience.
The good thingsMeet some great people.
The challengesIncompetent management. Total lack of integration of systems and processes. Immature company lacking a really strategic view. Management has no idea of what they are doing.

I would recommend Kent as an employer and the Team is great.
The good thingsThe company is amazing to work for and the people here are great
The challengesChallenges are what makes a job interesting by overcoming them and they are not challenges any longer.

I am incredibly grateful to be part of such an amazing team and can't wait to see what my future holds with Kent!
The good thingsI enjoy walking into the office and feeling and feeling so safe and comfortable to be who I am with my teammates. There is a lot of importance placed on the office culture and inclusion and belonging which is so valuable to me.
The challengesOur Perth team has grown so much in the past 2 years and working in a period of such rapid growth can be stressful but, in those times, I know I can lean on my co-workers to support me.
