    Good starting career job as a Junior
    The good thingsWorked with collogues and uppers, very good in communication and there is work life balance. People here are friendly and help each other out. Able to learn multiple skills and knowledge.
    The challengesAs similar as many other jobs, there will be times that is busy or miscommunication happen. But in the end able to resolve professionally. Designs sometimes need to do fast and accurate when there is many to handle

    Backward thinking company
    The good thingsYou get to wear many hats.
    The challengesBackward thinking company with 1 or 2 making decisions. No career progression, great low paying retirement job. No effort to challenge the status quo or take a risk and innovate. The company rewards those to work slow and work late or appear busy, not those who are efficient. No real company culture at all.

    A fulfilling workplace for fresh graduate
    The good thingsFirstly, colleagues and managers are downtoearth with great personalities, it’s not where you work, it’s the companion that counts. Second, bosses are highly educated enough for you to learn from them, in terms of discipline, enthusiasm towards what you are doing. Also, empowerment is there to enable you to call the shot. HR is caring about your education development a lot such that you will have chances to attend courses for productivity enhancement purposes, which is in line with Singapore vision towards a highly mobile workforce. Last but not least, there are rooms for you to take up more responsibilities where you definitely need to quickly boost your experience to a steep learning curve. Big boss is very optimistic, capable regardless of what circumstances that he is facing and is always in search of new opportunities for company expansion.
    The challengesIt’s a SME so dont expect MNC package such as flexibility, high salary. No challenges relating to job scope since colleagues are willing to teach and HR is continually following up on your learning progress.

    Fulfilling career
    The good thingsI've been working in the manufacturing industry for the past few decades now, and have accumulated experiences in several MNCs. When I first joined this company, I was hesitant that the SME culture might be different. However, to my surprise, it has been very rewarding. The top management values empowerment of employees and is willing to give autonomy to the staff in making meaningful decisions for the company. This gives me a sense of purpose in carrying out my responsibilities. Furthermore, the top management truly appreciates the staff and treats us as one big family. The firm also strongly encourages work-life balance for their employees with working hours from 8am to 5.30pm, and even promotes flexi-hours to cater to their needs.
    The challengesI am satisfied with my experience working in Kleen-Pak. In fact, I feel that how you define your working experience in any company really stems from your own personal attitude towards your work. As long as we adopt a positive attitude and are willing to make the effort to create value for the company, we will be able to overcome the challenges faced in the workplace.

    Work-life balanced, good exposure & adequate training
    The good thingsAs a millennial, I am more concerned about acquiring skills and whether such skills add value to my job. I'm so far satisfied with the trainings which I've received and the work I do. Because it is an SME, exposure is wide making the job more interesting. I have no issue with the working hours because it was already made known to me before I accepted the job. Almost everyone knocks off on-time anyway. I am also for merit-based remuneration so it doesn't bother me that there is no fix AWS. Colleagues are friendly & willing to share making it a comfortable workplace to work in.
    The challengesDecision making mainly by top 1 or 2 top guys. However, because the company structure is rather flat, decisions are made very fast without much red tape.

    A good place to kick start your career
    The good thingsThe working environment is very important to determine how enjoyable your work is. Kleen pak has a lot of friendly and helpful colleagues. Different training module will be arranged to the employee when necessary. It is a workplace which offer work life balance.
