    Overall a decent company to join
    The good thingsAlways alot of new things to learn and pickup. New technology in the refresh, new projects, learning different background and culture from other countries. opportunity for business travel and to learn new thing, depending on the department you joined and the position you accepted. Not much of office politics internally. Company and staff welfare is reasonable. New renovated office. Mostly are nice colleagues.
    The challengesCurrently still on old technology, and is quiet back dated. But the IT has been working to perform tech refresh activities. And things are getting better as days goes on. Everything else is great. I just love what I am doing over here.

    Boiler Operator First Class
    The good thingsCan handle and authorised to run any type ans size of boiler. Also having knowledge of working on DM and soft water plants. Everytime taken the part in annual and partial shutdown and routine maintenance with full safety. Can handle the plant individually and independently. Maintaining log records, give suggestions if needed and troubleshooting. Easily coordinate with my colleagues, always aiming on zero breakdown
    The challengesWell its a multinational company thus it has some pros and cons. Pros. Free work environment, supporting staff/seniors, canteen facility, strict safety rules, zero polution policy, state of the art technology etc Cons: sounds weird but i would say too much unnecessary paperwork.

    The good thingsMultiple units within the plant providing a wide range of learning opportunities on various chemical processes and equipment. Structured progression plan with multiple positions to allow continuous learning and salary growth. Particularly beneficial to fresh graduates as there is a bigger room for growth.
    The challengesSlightly limited opportunities for experienced or senior technicians as progression might be limited or more difficult to achieve. Low salary ceiling as compared to other bigger companies, which also results in a limited chance for salary growth. Occasional management change resulting in a change of direction therefore lacks continuity and stability. Efforts may go unrewarded.
