Not Recommended For Long Term Career
The good thingsNew institute, nice workspaces, young vibes, generally nice co-workers.
The challengesLow salary (way lower than market rates) upon transition from PhD student to postdoc. Increments and bonuses are terrible. Bad HR team. No sign of career progression. Too much workload, management is lacking empathy and not providing good work-life balance.

    Good for research experience only
The good thingsWith proper guidance and mentorship, you can gain valuable research experience if you intend to apply for grad school
The challengesEnvironment can get extremely political and sometimes toxic. As a university that claims to pride itself in its research, it's unfortunate they do not value research staff in terms of benefits and bonuses. Career development is heavily limited. Some group leaders have limited research funding.
