    Good company but damage by unprofessional manager.
    The good thingsGood pay & clean warehouse with good 5S practices.
    The challengesThe manager should detail what are expected and need to be done. As new comer, show some SOP & WI. Bring the new staff around and show what need to be done.Not just sit at her cubicle & leave him/her alone till end of day everyday. Colleagues / asst are most aunties from Malaysia. Only 1 willing to teach and most don’t really share. Got Q ‘n’ A session after every 2 weeks. My 1st time experience. You pass, can stay, u wrong , bye bye. Im glad i don’t stay long there. I heard after me , my replacement also doesn't stay long.. less than 2 weeks.

    R&D is a valued experience for my career profile.
    The good thingsHands on experiences. New technologies, developing new products vs Cycle time are primary goal of R&D. Company’s business growth in competitive market is directly relying on R&D projects. R&D is one core sector which is neither stopped nor paused even if there are blocks. Keep on challenging. Most recommend for fresh grads who thirst for basic experiences in semiconductor industrial. This is a place can build up engineering skills & experiences for career path with good benefits, reasonable salary.
    The challengesIf you are coming in from big companies/100% auto-fab environment/non-R&D, here is totally new for you. You will have to handle all new setups/ramp-ups/developing by hands on works. If you are experienced in semiconductor process engineering especially in auto-fab environment, R&D of lumileds can level up your past knowledge and value added for your career path.
