    Wonderful
The good thingsSupervisors are friendly and approachable, colleagues are friendly as well. Generally a great place to work at, considering the staff benefits such as being able to enter the parks free and staff meals which are delicious! Working days are really flexible.
The challengesHaving to be able to interact with different types of guests' especially tourists, in which they may not have a very good command in English. The code of conduct is rather strict, but reasonable.

    Hot and Humid but ineresting
The good thingsThe people, the activities organised for staff, the staff welfare. The environment and the animals there!
The challengesHot and Humid, pay relatively low for working in this environment. Expect guests who demand and will become nasty. Expect guests who will take advantage of the system

    Good days at Mandai
The good thingsThe people that you get to meet everyday differs. The job scope and exposure I get there is fun and unique at times. My leave entitlement was 21 days which is quite rare to get else where. Sometimes I get to bring VIP from overseas tour around the park. The bosses are the sporting kind and always gives us support when we encounter unpleasant scenarios with guests, will buy some food for motivation.
The challengesEncountering the difficult guests that are demanding that no one can assist you at times, the free lunch given by company wasn't that fantastic most of the time. The downside is that I can't wear tudung..as we don our uniform, but weirdly Night Safari can. No proper explanation on that too. The pay can't really sustain you for your future, unless the jobscope and pay tallies, which they are not.
