Singapore5 to 6 years in the role, former employee
A once mighty warship that failed to progress with time and technology.
The good things1. There were lots of learning opportunity for me to learn about investing, and I adapt what I'd learned to grow my personal finance. 2. The Colleagues I met are mostly warm and friendly. 3. The Company benefit covers me and my immediate family. 4. I can have work life balance while working here 5. The team's workload and stress was evenly spread out.
The challenges1. Encounter lots of internal / compliance red tapes that protects the management and operations, at the cost of Sales and Growth. 2. Ancient software infrastructure and system that requires lots of manual processing and operating, which is vulnerable to unnecessary human error and external hacking. 3. Bad at investing on technologies (e.g automated system, A.I, etc...) and talented individuals. 4. Unproductive and ill disciplined employee, was being protected by the company. 5. Extensive paper wastage, which can be reduced with existing technology.
