Good work life balance but there are mixed feelings
The good thingsGenerally good work life balance compared to the industry. If you believe in education, this is a great place to do so.
The challengesPay ceiling and work recognition is the real issue if you wish to see career progression. Amongst the various stat boards, this stat board probably pays below average for most staff. Not even comparing to the industry.

Great place for a first time job
The good thingsGood, cheap and wide variety of food available within the campus. Easy admin work, requires no work experience. Friendly working environment. Best place to gain admin job experience for first-timers. Involves working with a partner so you are not alone. Involves working in an office with the other new temps as well so you learn and grow together.
The challengesHandling loads of applications and data entry during peak periods. Handling the main hotline during peak periods.

A good start for a first job (temp)
The good thingsNice people Simple admin work Cheap, good and wide variety of food available for lunch You have partners to rely on Can pick up and experiment basic Microsoft Excel skills when doing the data entry Workload is easy and manageable during the first few months (earlier in the year), giving you time to learn and ease in into the job
The challengesWorkload can be piles during peak months Depending on the kind of person you may find the admin work mundane as it is repetitive Recommended for A Levels or Diploma holders only who are awaiting results or need a temp job before prusuing full-time career
