    A good place to learn and develop knowledge on how the health and cleanliness of our Environment is crucial
    The good thingsA fairly good job. Pay is reasonable but slightly low. Office hours. Your medical costs can be reclaimed. Occasional gatherings which relieve you from work. You learn a lot on the workings of how government agencies approach an issue from the public and whose purview the problem falls under. You get sense of doing something noble and how actually our actions impact the environment.
    The challengesWorkload is quite high. Superiors were not that understanding and very KPI driven that sometimes your explanations may not be welcomed. Working colleagues are just fairly or just slightly helpful but this is strictly a very independent job. There is not much for promotion. Very selective for promotion.

    The good thingsThat we get to explore the different areas of health agency. They let us be on our own and make sure we get the job for the day done. They let us be independent, the workload is quite reasonable.
    The challengesThe challenges would be the pay, the career progression is not really clear. The rules and regulations for the promotion I feel needs to be worked on. I don't feel that the work done and the evaluation from the superiors are not really justifiable which brings the morale down.

    Being able to interact and gain confidence in communication and service with different stakeholders.
    The good thingsThe flexible working hours and being able to communicate and understanding the concerns and sentiments of the public on the ground are what makes it enjoyable. It helps in building up self-confidence. Working in teams helps to observe and complement team member's strengths and weakness.

    The good thingsAll the staffs are friendly, helpful, work as a team, and work closely with each other. Team bonding is a definite. Working environment is up tops. Office working hours which is definitely convenient, fixed weekend offs. Pay is acceptable based on qualifications.

    Decent workplace but a little slow
    The good thingsThe management does provide adequate support to the staff, ensuring that the staff learns well on the job. The perks like telecommuting, fruits giveaway, bonding activities make it a less dull place to work at. The pay and the medical benefits are also decent.
    The challengesThe pace of work is definitely quite slow due to the bureaucracy. There is a need to streamline work processes and reduce the unnecessary paperwork. NEA could also consider more flexible telecommuting requirements.
