Amazing company culture with wonderful colleagues
The good thingsCompany culture is amazing. Everyone, including Senior Management, is friendly. Something I truly appreciate is that they practice an open door culture and encourage you to talk to them whenever you have questions. While there is no formal job rotation function, however, you will be given an opportunity to take up a new job role if you are suitable for it. Good staff benefits and flexible working arrangements.
The challengesSlow progression, as you will need at least 3 years for promotion. Often encouraged to try new things, with autonomy to do so. However, there will also always be many hurdles and layers for you to go through, and even after going through all these hurdles, it may go back to square one. Often juggling many areas of work on your own.

Good work life balanceGood work-life balance, benefits and has a hybrid working arrangement (up to your own management, of course). Many opportunities to meet nice colleagues, friendly culture. Development opportunities a plenty, but career progression needs to be earned with time. Personal experience depends on the team you are working in.

A good place to develop your career in Early Childhood education
The good thingsManagement takes into account your viewpoints and feedback regarding work processes. You play an active role in your own work performance and management. There are many review cycles a year to discuss your work targets and benchmark your work performance so that you can manage your workload.
    The challengesThe commute is tiring.

Fulfilling work, decent remuneration and good colleagues.
The good thingsSalary, bonuses, and perks are quite decent. Supportive towards staff's personal and family needs. Biggest plus point would be the people & culture.
The challengesTraditional management approach but significantly improved over the years. That said, there’s still room to level up how performance and career progression are assessed. Perhaps to consider a more well-rounded, holistic approach.

good CEO and colleagues will not last you very long when you over so hard and yet not being recognised or given the chance to promote because your ro don't fight for your promotion, you are only a firefighter to them who can be easily replaced.
The good thingsgood CEO who has the personal touch, colleagues overall still okay
The challengesno work life balance. senior management fail to look out for operations people undermine the work required to achieve goals, staff burn out, feedback doesn't get to the top with middle managers cushioning, alot of ro don't know how to be a good leader and does not plan for their staff future causing resentment as the staff overwork fall sick due to overload but they think it is your health issue.

Deleting negative reviews (not first time)
The good thingsCheap canteen food and clean office. So-so pantry supply.
The challengesOffice block is too far from main campus/bus stops. Management is still too "tradition" in their thinking, unable to accept new ideas readily and although office is small, everyone still have the time to gossip and chit chat. Like those previous negative comments that was already deleted, let's see how soon they will take this genuine comment down.

    Supportive, professional team
The good thingsThe staff here are highly professional and experienced - demonstrating a great level of knowledge in their profession (and areas of expertise). They often offer their support to colleagues who may be in need. Trusted early childhood professionals with a passion for what they do!
The challengesPerhaps due to the unprecedented times like now, many changes are ongoing. Hence we need to adapt pretty quickly.
