Your manager can make or break your job
The good thingsfriendly family environment, good working hours, good staff benefits, decent pay.
The challengesManagement seems inexperienced and wishy washy when it comes to establishing workplace protocols, resolving workplace issues. Alot of gossip and politics when it comes to contract renewal time amongst staff. Expensive food in school canteen, limited choices.

    Stressful, decent salary
The good thingsLots of teaching resources. And their marketing is very eye catching so I guess that’s one more thing that they’re good at.
The challengesNo structure within the school at all.. No structure in the classroom. It will be a struggle for new staff who have come from more established & professional schools. Management is wishy washy when it comes to managing staff & has eyes and ears around the school. Beware of getting blacklisted or you won’t get a renewed contract for the new year!

The challengesCan not judge by challenges. There are ups and down going together. So must enjoy and grow together whatever the role.

    Interactions within an international environment
The good thingsHad a great Principal during my early years-a very humble, down-to-earth type of character, no egos with a caring attitude. Kind of a stress reliever to perk up one's day! Opportunities to be exposed within an international environment, getting to meet lots of different cultural nationalities and ended up having new friends! Quite generous in providing great meals where events are concerned.
The challengesHeavy workload could be stressful, but manageable with an understanding superior as well as great team mates. Superior provided good guidance throughout. The educators could have been more prompt and cooperative in assisting administration. Management could probably increase staff counts as the school had progressed and increased in number.
