Some good some badThe good thingsThe industry is slow moving and not as competitive as others such as banking. Anyone with average ability will be able to do fairly well without having to apply himself/herself too much. Also, due to the nature of the business, most of the customers are in Europe and the US, giving you wide exposure as to how to do business in these countries.
The challengesThe office is in a factory located far from public transport. The company provides transport as the majority of workers are factory staff however you will have to catch the bus very early. Very top down management style. During my time, the COO would yell at staff if they made mistakes. I believe this has changed after his removal.
