    Low pay, no progress.
The good thingsCan play games during work hours.
The challengesWork keeps piling up. No progress after almost 10 years there. Company would rather hire new higher post employees rather than promote the current ones.

The good thingsGood & fun place to work in. Management doing a lot of work to ensure cultural integration between different races ( Chinese , Malay, Indian , Korean , Japanese ..etc). Whole workplace revamped towards new & interesting business.
The challengesNeed to be able to adapt changes with open mindset. Not suitable for people who want changes in work life.

when it’s good, it’s fun working. When it’s hectic, it gets bad
The good thingsGood team spirit. Hectic working environment but lively. The management are tolerant when it comes to staff making mistakes.
The challengesDepending on the business, often the challenges are the highly demanding inconsiderate client.

Fast growing company with benefit getting better quickly
The good thingsFlexible structure to fit the needs of service delivery to customer and reward employees accordingly. Fast growing company with employee benefit getting better and better quickly over the past 1 or 2 years. Strong support from overseas divisions including China, US and Australia, in areas such as technical support, admin, sales and management support. Young and vibrant company culture.
The challengesNeed to adjust oneself to adapt to the fast changing environment to match the pace of company growth. Need to demonstrate capability (technical, business and leadership skills) matching to pay and opportunities given.

Good colleagues but HR & Management needs to look at peoper developement & retention of staff more seriously.
The good thingsThe clients and projects taken are really good learning ground for fresh graduates.Depending on the project manager & colleagues you are working with, it can also be a cohesive working environment. Generally, it is a good stepping stone for fresh graduates to get experience.
The challengesI was asked to take on a wider job scope as a creative designer. Suggestion was given to the HR to send the team of individuals who would be interested to take on more responsibilities and widen their job scope, but was told that it is something that can be learned on Youtube like her son at home. Company could do better to maintain loyalty of their staff and increase retention rate.

    Good days at Pactera
The good thingsFlexible work approaches where you can work independently and then review your work with peers and senior people of the team. Good team work and helpful culture.
The challengesTest case review with client since we have to defend the test scenarios with them under detailed discussions and multiple review sessions. Understand business scenarios and come up with test scenarios and detailed test cases in quick time.
