    Low salary, bad higher management
The good thingsThere were several cool local colleagues that made the job more pleasant.
The challengesLow motivation, low salary, bad career prospects. Expect to work in a very dusty and hot environment, in secluded areas with poor access. Management is not very driven due to this industry being "dead" and matured. Business outlook is poor due to many other local SME competitors. A bad place for people that takes care of their health and well being/physique.

    A concerned employee's reviews
The good things1.)Work life balance as it's a 8-5pm kind of company. 2.)Basic leaves and decent medical reimbursements. 3.)Good place to pick up technical skills. 4.)Colleagues are friendly. 5.)Immediate supervisor and ex-mentor gave good guidance.
The challenges1.)Very limited resources to work with(people/machines) 2.)Routine gets monotonous and eventually repetitive. 3.)Lack of progression and below market salary for young employees.

    Flexible timing
The good thingsFlexible timing in terms of start & end work hours. Flexible timing in terms of lunch hours. A higher amount of days of leave compared to other companies. Employees can directly speak to the senior management level if they feel uncomfortable talking to their direct supervisor.
The challengesOne of the challenges is that the company does not provide formal training. Once employed, we are placed under a senior employee to be mentored. If the senior employee is very capable, new employees can be well trained. But such senior employee is rare in most situation. The company can do better by creating a better support system, especially for new employees.

    Unbalance in work load distribtion
The good thingsIf you are looking for a company to float (do minimum, stable monthly pay), this is the company you are looking for.
The challengesAs with all organisations, in order to have majority of people floating, there must be a group of high performance staffs to carry the floaters. Sadly, this company have way too many floaters. Those being given the \"opportunity\" to carry the floaters, will be very stressful and yet, the salary doesn't match market rates.

    Average.
The good thingsCulture here is easy going. Overall not too stressful. As long as you complete your work on time, you will be fine.
The challengesIf an market rate or higher salary is very important to you, then you have to look else where. Otherwise, you'll have to work very hard and fight to climb up to have a nicer paycheck.
