    The good thingsOutwardly, the port of singapore famed for being the busiest transhipment hub, the maritime capital of the world etc is the pride of my country, a huge draw for me to join this industry during Covid-19.
    The challengesI am in Operations. The push factors are not ie. long working hours etc. It is the culture, mannerisms and calibre of the people within this port that got me questioning myself working here.

    PSA Corp is a good & stable place to work
    The good thingsIt is one of the most stable and secure employment for Singaporean. Great career opportunity for individual who wants/loves to pursue relevent education & workforce skill in the port industry. The management is style is very strict but it is good for those with good discipline and work ethics. Full of benefits and perks working there. Salary is around the mid-range but per annum salary with bonuses can almost match to working in privste sector or maybe slightly more.
    The challengesthe challenges is need to be one of the very best to really climb the corporate ladder also pleasing management is as important even if you are not that good at your work. Need to be a little more 'yessir' to really bein the safezoneof thecareer advancement path.
