Nurturing environment to pick up skills in a new profession
The good thingsIt was a nurturing environment where management would allow employees to learn more skills and develop in new areas if there is an opportunity and interest.
The challengesAlthough there is an opportunity to learn, the processes, systems and tools tend to be traditional, manual and lacking behind market practices and technology. Hence, the skills and experience may not be so valuable and transferable.
