The fun is dying outThe good thingsI have been working as a banquet server for 2 years plus and in this two years, much have changed. The assistant manger, the executives, the captains, the part timers. It use to be a joyous occasion every service and off service without fail. But then when everyone start leaving and new staff comes in. I don’t feel the same as it used to be. No longer that fun. It used to be working for money, hanging out with people I know (including the assistant manager and staffs) and just working happily together but now it just seems like it’s strictly working for salary. :(
The challengesIt’s a shame as I have mentioned above. The challenge faced was probably maintaining the energy there but it is hard. It can no longer be the same. Lots of unforgettable memories.
Oh and after 2 years of working I finally got my increment. It was a long run but just felt that it could be quicker seeing the fact that I have put in lots of efforts and time.
