The challengessome of the IT environment controls are more restrictive due to requirements from Govtech resulting in some of the staff being unable to freely explore IT solutions for teaching/facilitation.

    Working Life in RP
The good thingsRelatively good benefits for staff Different Opportunities to develop staff Adequate staff training internally Good amount of funding for training - $2000/year Opportunities for internal transfer Work not bounded by desk/port and can work any way in the school Green environment which is good for health Childcare facilities which is good for staffs with kids Reasonable food in the various canteens.
The challengesSalary can be packed according to the rest of the polytechnics Mid year and annual review should be criterion mode rather than norm referencing. Parking can be made free for the staffs as other polytechnics and ITEs are doing that Build additional canteen to accommodate for the numbers of students in the campus Do away from the open book concept and more closed book Be open to suggestions in org.
