The experience is fruitful but not something that I want to experience again. I think NS is more fruitful and memorable.
The good thingsThere are nice people here. You will be rewarded for hard work. Mistakes made can be forgiven. You just have to prove that you learned from it and be better.
The challengesVery very very challenging indeed. This is because of manpower issues. You will be expected to juggle so many projects and go to 1 site minimally in a day. Politics are obviously seen from the high management. SG HQ is not 100% stable but already looking to expand overseas which does not make sense. If you are able to cope with this challenge, you can excel in any other SME and MNC.

The challengesManagement team is flexible and fast decision makers, hence make my work a lot easier, though a lot occasionally.

The challengesNeed to learn a lot of new technologies compared to traditional IP networks. Many projects to do and each project is unique, never get bored.

Not worth working hard in this comp ay
The good thingsThey are no good things worth of mentioning
The challengesNo sense of time of the day. E-mail sent out at wee hours and expect employee to act on it the very morning with an answer. Non-stop what app flooding in like stock market. Too many what app chart group. Top management has no trust in all employee… messy organisation structure. No clear mission and vision They dun live up to what they preach in their mission and vision

    Full specturm of network work
The good thingsExcellent exposure to latest network technologies and related software. People here is friendly, management is down to earth. Great start-up work environment. The benefit is transparent; the more you work the more you get paid.
The challengesLots of things to learn and pick up. Success comes with hard work and get paid for doing something you like.

Good place to build a career in digital network profession
The good thingsA lot of opportunity to learn how the Internet is built. Good management. Management is willing to share knowledge, teach and spend time to coach staff. Politics is none existence due to strong team work culture. Pay package is even better than some MNC.
The challengesFast career progression, hence the work can be intense and sometimes, long work hours. Quality is strongly emphasized, as such there were many lesson learned sharing sessions and info sharing which some staff mistook it as pinpointing mistakes made.

    Lots of chance to learn
The good thingsGood colleagues, very supportive management and best place to learn about optical networks. Flat organisation, team work (management actually go to the trenches to help), a learning and a very progressive organisation (expanding rapidly to many countries in Asia).
The challengesIf you are passionate in building networks, here is a nirvana, as you are exposed to many different type of work challenges that simulate the mind.

    Bad Management with politics
The good thingsColleagues are easygoing except for Top Management (HR, AVP and MD)
The challengesNo work life balance. Endless sms and calls after office hours and weekends. Politic comes from Top Management and micromanaged staff. Penalised mistakes with scoldings.

Low Pay, Stuck in a Dead-End Job
The good thingsGet paid and learn with stress. Boss is very motivative.
The challengesBad work culture, bad carrer progress. Bad staff benefits and insane chances to make error and and penalize. Above all, when things goes wrong blame will be on you. Work life balance is terrible.

Good tech company but bad management
The good thingsExciting work scope of Optical DWDM Terrestrial and Long haul networks. Very interesting job scopes.
The challengesBad management. Bosses who aren't trusting in their employees. Bosses/management who scrutinize and pinpoint every single mistakes the employees do. Employees have no freedom to do what they like to do here. Everything is restricted.

Best Digital Company for Network Geeks
The good thingsProgressive work culture, great place to learn and progress. Lots of staff benefits, opportunities to work in Data Centers, learn to build complex networks and insane chances to have hands-on experience and training for the latest and greatest technologies for high speed optical networks (600G per wavelength and beyond). Above all, get to meet friendly people in the company, travel in the region and meet customers who are from FSI, Cloud and Telco sectors.
The challengesStrong emphasis on quality delivery hence workload can be daunting. But it is understandable as in the long term, we have less fault cases to handle, means can sleep peacefully. Fair bit of weekend work but duly compensated.
