If you enjoy getting challenges and challenged unexpectedly
The good thingsMany daily challenges, you are in-charge of your own growth. Pay-out is pretty good, taking into account educational level. - Many incentives and bonuses, despite average basic salary. Free public transportation and budget canteen food, good for those who need to increase capital for those big plans in life. OT is optional unless is already incorporated into your roster / schedule. Work across functional groups - liaise and work with people not from your department / jurisdiction.
The challengesCannot choose your shift - You are stuck to your shift pattern from Day One. Some knee-jerk reactionary decision making Wide and flat hierarchy - be prepared to slog it out if you want a promotion as you are benchmarked against colleagues of the same corporate rank across the whole company.. If you can work more OT, and take zero MC equals better employee? You are paid for your time - If you prefer to be paid by the value you create, maybe this industry is not for you.
