Delivered safe, excellent service while adapting quickly and working effectively in a team. ✈️
The good thingsmeeting people from diverse backgrounds and create positive travel experiences for them.
The challengesIrregular working hours, time zone changes, and physical fatigue can be demanding. Managing difficult passengers or unexpected situations requires patience, professionalism, and quick thinking. Additionally, being away from family during holidays or important occasions can be emotionally challenging.

I never regret working for Scoot!
The good thingsLearning about Different Cultures: As a cabin crew member, you interact with passengers from all around the world. Traveling to various countries exposes you to new food, festivals, and lifestyles, giving you a deeper appreciation for diversity. Each flight brings new situations, whether it's dealing with different types of passengers, handling in-flight emergencies, or managing time zone changes.
The challengesFlights often operate at all hours of the day, meaning crew members may need to wake up in the early hours (sometimes as early as 3 or 4 AM) or work through the night on red-eye flights. This irregular schedule can disrupt natural sleep patterns and lead to fatigue. Cabin crew members occasionally have to deal with difficult passengers, whether it’s someone upset about flight delays, seating arrangements, or other inconveniences. Handling these situations requires patience, diplomacy, and strong conflict-resolution skills.

    Great team with close synergy
The good thingsTeam at Scoot are knowledgeable and helpful. Environment promotes open sharing of information and inter-departmental co-operation.
The challengesIndividual are expected to cover more then the usual roles and responsibilities. Tight work space and open concept means less privacy.

    Alot of politics going on
The good thingsEasy going culture (which also means no proper structure or standard operating procedure)
The challengesAlot of inexperienced young managers playing politics among departments, no one really cares if you come in super late and leave super early.. if you cannot mix well in a click, then you are outcast. Millions of dollars lost every month which means zero to low bonus.

    Depends on your luck
The good things-Can get to travel to different places -Sometimes might get to work with great team and crew -If you are lucky, you will get good rosters and well paid. -Meet different kinds of people - Get to join ctivities/ parties organized by the companies
The challenges-Unfair roster, if you are lucky, you will get the good roster for months. If you are unlucky, you will get a bad roster for few months. Bad roster means only turnarounds and less working hours in a month. in which the paid will be very terrible. - Bad policy/ politics that causes many crews leaving recently
