    At Sheraton Hotel im part of the Opening team as a Commis 1.
    The good thingsI did a great experience at Sheraton Hotel because every one of us gave each others idea. We do rap session with the General manager atleast once a month to ask associates concerns about the hotel and to every departments so that we can help to grow our hotels concern and also to help us to grow as associates and as a person.
    The challengesWhen they gave me a task thats the time that i challenge my self. But since we are the opening team of the hotel i also challenge when we're doing the menu for the Ala carte and menu for buffet sin we dont have a supervisor at first but I overcome that challenge as a commis 1.

    The challengesSenior management practice favoritism among the team. Not healthy for a big organization which carries the international branding. Otherwise this really a very good company to work and developed your career with them.

    Good learning hotel
    The good thingsA very good place to start. This hotel accommodates new staff with well established training. Most of the staff are there works there for more than 10 years and that shows you one thing, its a very good working environment.
    The challengesCareer progression a bit slow. Due to the age of the hotel and new hotels in Singapore, getting high occupancy is a challenge.
