The challengesWorking as an Account Assistant in the government sector presents challenges such as adhering to strict financial regulations, navigating bureaucratic processes, managing high workloads, and maintaining confidentiality while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

The good thingsChallenging working environment that requires physical and knowledge. Get to travel for multi/bilateral exercises. Enjoyable to work with own department staffs(depend) and standards benefits.
The challengesNeed to take up secondary roles for career advancement. Limited posting for tech staffs hence you will be required to serve onboard the ship longer. The tasking for ship is the utmost priority hence you might need to cancel your leave for sailing if required. No me time.

Exciting, a large organisation with a vast diversity.
The good thingsThe organisation is very structured. Changes takes a longer duration to effect. So do not expect that one can change the organisation's direction and structure or culture. The salary is competitive and always on the rise to adapt to market changes. The Job scope is also ever changing hence the excitement or challenges might be overwhelming for some. I have seen some rise to the challenges and many that suffered. 100% not routine work.
The challengesThe culture. When people who spend their entire lifetime working in one organisation, its better to adapt to their preference then attempt to effect a change. You can make minor impacts but definitely not a bigger scale. Even high ranking officers will find it difficult to impact any changes. Your bosses are all doctors and majority do not stay in the organisation for long. They move away faster than you can imagine.

An exciting career with opportunities and much personal development
The good thingsAn organisation that gives equal opportunities for advancement and provides much personal development. It is also an organisation that takes good care of its employees, providing many welfare and benefits to her people. The organisation also provides a wide range of job scope, hence giving the employees an exciting career.
The challengesWork can be pretty stressful at time with many complex issues to solve. Many times, they come with a tight schedule to meet. The other challenge is to change the perception on the importance of Military Service to the nation.

    Life-Changing!
The good thingsI am thankful for the invaluable experience and all the lessons learnt whilst doing this job. I loved every single challenge which I eventually conquered, and the experiences I will always take with me. I enjoyed the stability the job provided, the comfortable working hours, the medical benefits, as well as the life-long friendships forged.
The challengesI like to work efficiently- working hard, yet working smart, but of course always making safety a top priority. Sometimes, long administrative protocol tends to frustrate me. On the bright side, facing this challenge has made me learn to become more patient and understanding as to why some long protocol are required, especially where safety is concerned. This has also taught me to speak up and make suggestions in cases where I can help make change for the department to run a little more efficiently.
