Too much of politics and higher management can't accept bluntness and honest feedback when I'm being ask for feedback. The good thingsGood environment. Colleagues are fun and willingly to share tips on handling workload e.g. Over booking or handle complaints. I was also taught to managed night audit and more. Very pleasant experience except the fact that higher management too ego to accept lower staff honesty and bluntness feedback. That's bad cause the room for improvement are being closed by the management itself. I don't mind the long hours or back to back shift or even the salary is small. I enjoyed working there at SRC@theResidence.
The challengesI was a toast master member who excel in public speaking. Therefore, I'm being task to handle complaints whether in person or thru email. It's a challenge for me cause I'm only being taught what to say and what not to say. The rest is up to me. How I phrase it or how I make the guest satisfied upon me replying to their complaints is entirely up to me. Furthermore, it's my first time handling such task. But I management after few run.
