    The good thingsThe company ensures that everyone has a conducive work environment by the lack of politics, and the general cooperative ambience.
    The challengesThe work is tiring, you have to carry heavy stuff, while standing for long hours, and the dishwashing is hard!

    The good thingsSome of the benefits that staff get to enjoy are double pay on public holidays for part-timers. The company has helped me to grow professionally by learning how to do operation on floor and in kitchen. One of the things I like about the team is that they will help one another such as if there is not enough staff inside kitchen, service crew will go inside to help and vice versa.
    The challengesdemanding customers who cannot wait patiently for servers to take their orders, change/ cancel their orders here and there, anyhow seating in the restaurant, walking away without paying the bill.

    The good thingsIt is macro management and not micro as most Japanese companies does practice Micro Management of employees. In my position, I am given the trust and my views are taken into serious consideration when coming to making critical decision in expansion of the business. MD is not authoritarian but rather diplomatic in carrying out decision making and allocating of specific tasks to various Managers in the team to achieve overall objective. Stresses on Teamwork, Harmony and Respect among all colleagues in the company.
    The challengesThe ability to perform yearly beyond what is expected and achieving well above your own goals and expectation. Need to improve in giving more professional courses to the Managers related their own department enabling them to become better Managers especially in leadership training and mentor ship capabilities.
