I learned generating and resolving billing in Singtel, producing eBill which first version only release to Top 10 Customers.
The good thingsWorking place where you can learn a lot of things, facing challenges and having humble and talented seniors who are willing to help.
The challengesThey are very strict with paper qualification, so you need to have at least recognized bachelor degrees to start.

Retail Executive: Long hours with expectations of Sales target as well as customer service
The good thingsCommision wise is ok. Staff perks for mobile and fibre.
The challengesThe training that was carried out for new hires was very barebones as there are many processes and systems to learn. Not very friendly when it comes to new trainees so must have intiative to learn and pickup fast, if you want to work as a retail exec. Management would pressure for sales target and customer experience scores. If you do not hit sales target they would come down on you and make you come down for training even if it is your off day. At the same time you need to maintain good customer service. It is very likely that you would exceed the 44 hours work week so if you are looking for work/life balance look someplace else.

    Supportive colleagues but poor management
The good thingsMy colleagues were supportive of one another. We were able to learn and grow together, and forging friendships that extended beyond the office There were good learning opportunities for us, with trainings, webinars and other materials we received
The challengesThe Management sets unrealistic expectations and then they come down hard on the staff when things don't turn out as expected Employee welfare could be better, such as Management having more willingness to lend a listening ear to the staff and be less dismissive More benefits for contract staff would also make things better

Good colleagues but staff welfare could be better
The good thingsMy colleagues were helpful and we sharpened each other, which helped us learn and grow together as a team I picked up alot of hard and soft skills while at work and in my interactions with colleagues The location is pretty central, which makes it easy to come to work
The challengesManagement sets super unreasonable targets and goes very hard on staff Not much opportunities for career development within the company Pay more attention to staff welfare and listen more to their concerns

You don't really reap what you sow
The good thingsThe company rewards us well with performance bonus, this is the motivation to work. My colleagues here aren't that political, at least my team mates aren't. There are frequent half-days on the eve of public holidays and also some special ones like Family day where we get to go off 4 hours earlier. You get to learn a lot of things here, given the time. Opportunity is always present.
The challengesDespite the bonuses, the management throws unreasonable decision to make last minute cut, last minute changes to numbers. We as executive have to be on standby to wait and to load into system, it is easy for one to tense up duration those critical period. I suggest if cuts are not significant, we could wait till a second adjustment period(we have three period catered) to deliver. Also, 1 person could be doing 3 persons worth of work at any given time.

    Enjoyable and pleasant work experience
The good thingsOverall good working environment. Friendly and helpful teammates. Focus on teamwork, everyone pulls their weight. Managers and directors are understanding and reasonable, they do not micromanage, perfect for independent workers. Opportunity to go on company sponsored upskill courses. Rotating job scopes within the team to encourage flexibility and learning. Have to take up additional portfolios but superiors make an effort to ensure you are not swarmed. Manageable work load however there will be a couple of busy periods requiring overtime.
The challengesLack of career advancement and salary can range from average to below market standard.

Good Benefits but Long Working Hours
The good thingsOne of the things I like about the team is that they are helpful. Some of the benefits that staff get to enjoy are great.
The challengesThe company has helped me to grow professionally by giving us wider work scope. The weakness of the company's management team is seen in identifying employee needs.

    Great employer experience
The good thingsBenefits and culture is better than other SI companies. There are multiple departments available and you have an option to try different roles within the organisation. Employee perks are good (especially telco benefits).
The challengesExperience may be highly dependent on the project you're working on and the manager. There is a moderate turnover rate so there are lots of handing over, taking over of tasks from colleagues.

High starting salary for a fresh grad
The good thingsI liked that my colleagues in the Serangoon North office were really laidback. There was no overtime required for my position and I was offered a pretty high starting salary despite the fact that I was a fresh grad without experience. There was also shuttle buses provided to the office from Ang Mo Kio and Dover. Furthermore, there were plenty of food options if you are willing to walk for 10 minutes.
The challengesThere is not much interaction between managers and the normal staff. I think more could be done to make feel employees appreciated. The yearly increment could also be increased.
