They do not have Accident Insurance for the employees working in graveyard shift
The good thingsTrainors are the best Team Leaders are supportive and helpful Friendly atmosphere with co-agents
The challengesAt first, difficulty in english communication. But since, trainors are great, with the assistance of team leaders, and with perseverance of the agent itself, this hardship was easily addressed.

Call center experience can perhaps be different than you think. A call center agent's job is fast-paced and needs rapid multitasking. Much of the reasoning associated with the occupational stigma is outdated, and for the right candidates, careers in call centers have a great deal to offer.
The good thingsPotential Higher Earnings & Benefits. As a call center agent, you're likely to get a higher basic pay as compared to the other jobs nowadays. ... Develop Valuable Skills and Experience. ... Interaction with the People. ... Camaraderie with Colleagues. ... Opportunity is Open to Nearly Everyone. ... Reliable Career Advancement.
The challengesAgent attrition. Employee attrition has long been an issue in high-volume hiring environments, such as call centers. ... Recognize and reward. ... Competitive pay and benefits. ... Control and training. ... Gamification. ... Low customer satisfaction. ... Provide IVR. ... Customer surveys.

    My first BPO experience
The good thingsthey did a great job supervising first time BPO applicants. They are very accommodating and pro-agent. I was able to utilize my skill and capabilities later on I was able to apply a higher position although I wasn't even a college graduate. I was able to create a great camaraderie with co workers and even with supervisors.
The challengesI got used to the graveyard shift but I one of the most difficult part was to passed all the metrics like CSAT, QA score. also rendering too much OTs are stressful due to long Queue.

The good thingsThe company provides total care to their employees from health sector, educational, physical, recreational and environment. As we all no that working on a call center is a stressful job, but Sitel makes it easy for you as 1-2-3. Their health benefits are the best! Free consultations, free vitamins every month and hospitalizations are being covered. Managers are down-to-earth too.
The challengesI may say about salary but weighing thing from the benifits they provide, it is balance..

    Process Improvement Program Manager
The good thingsSitel, overall I considered it as a good company. They provide good benefits at least to me, like Maxicare that both dependents are covered, Insurance, Rice Allowance etc. They also give the opportunity to achieve the role you wanted to be. They have both online and classroom tools to help you learn the things you need to learn on your job and at the same time as an individual/
The challengesOne major opportunity that I think that my company needs to enhance is the salary. If you will compare it from different company, it seems that we are receiving <20%. This is not just with my position by with other roles as well.

    Job hiring process
The good thingsThey make sure that they get the best people to fit in with the vision of the company. Giving series of interviews and exam were made to ensure the quality of people that will be part of their family. They sort applicant according to their individual capabilities
The challengesIt took several minutes to release the result.of every stage of the interview process. Time is essential in every aspect of life which means every minute has a huge impact on the progress on each individual

    Best HMO Package
The good thingsThe main goid thing about Sitel is the best health insurance pacjage that they offer to their employees. HMO cards are even given to beneficiaries at no additional cost and has 20k medicine allowance per year. You can request for your kid's vitamins and the clinic will contact you within the week for you get it. It shows that they really care about their employee's health and their family's too.
The challengesThey could have higher salary package if they don't have competitive incentive bonuses and higher annual appraisals. Stations could be more spacious if it was just a plain rectangular area instead of curvaceous working station without any divider. There should be at least a little privacy here from my seatmate. Not that I don't want to be caught doing anything, there are nosey people.

    My Slingshot!
The good thingsSitel Philippines was my first Call Center. After migrating from the US, I just felt that the Restaurant/Hotel Industry didn't have anything fresh to offer me. I needed to widen my horizon. I needed change. I had all these negative feedback about jumping on board Sitel, glad I went against the tide there.
The challengesThe pay really could have been better. I wished I didn't have bills to pay and continued my experience there. The people were awesome, my bosses were great. Location at the time was far but accessible.

    Afraid to own up.
The good thingsI enjoyed the company of the new friends I made.
The challengesThe officers are afraid to own up to their mistakes. They cannot protect their agents. The reason behind this is because the agent committed the mistake because of their own greediness to make a sale or retain. Customer.

The good thingsYou have your own headset and they offer voluntary time out or early out if its avail.
The challengesThe communication between coaches to managers. Its hard to be absent because even you get sick they will ask you to report to work.I find it inconsiderate when you have a medical certificate saying you are not fit to work and yet they will force you to report to work.
