Incapable, very poor leadership team who calls themselves directors and managers.
    The good thingsNothing, nothing, nothing
The challengesPoor and incompetent management team who doesn't know what happens on the ground. Very toxic culture. Very high turnover. Attempts to promote the staff who got complain from clients, staff comes in office anytime. Close eyes on staff who sleeps comfortably in office. Thus others who work responsibly have to cover all the work resulting to burntot and inequality. Not transparent to the team - hiding facts. Timeline keeps changing and they expect staff to still deliver on time. Project Management Team plans timeline with staff working OT, Weekend and PH. Micromanaged by the middle person, the Authority who is also unaware of user needs. No processes in place.

The work environment was very terrible, my shifts ends after midnight and there was no perks.
The good thingsThe only good thing is work-life balance
The challengesThe company should increase human work and be less reliant in AI

Unrealistic workload and weekly KPI, managers don't even drill into real cause just based on no. of tickets you cannot close. that's it, judgement comes. feedback also useless.
The good thingsFlexibility but it comes with a weekly KPI to showcase to the rest where are you in the rat race. Either top runners or worst runners.
The challengesAs long as it is shared services, please do not join. Workload is not evenly distributed as it is by human beings. if you are on good terms with the person you get easier tickets to clear then your weekly KPI will be beautiful like rainbows .

Experience differs by business unit, division manager and reporting officer. Do not generalize ST.
The good thingsThe people and my division's culture.
The challengesThere may be a lack of mentorship, with tech project led by non-tech managers that may not fully grasp technical details.

Not recommended, only if you are fresh grad but even then stay for 2 years max.
The good thingsStability, can learn a lot depending on project.
The challengesUnderstaffed, workload will be too much sometimes. Pay is below market average. Not using the latest technologies, too much red tape.

No Permanent Position, it's just recontracting forever.
The good thingsThe company has helped me to grow professionally by learning a lot of technical things on the job. Lotsa practical/site exposure too. Very good learning ground. One of the things I like about the team is that they are very friendly and approachable.
The challengesOne of the contributing factors to work stress is very high. Everyone is overloaded. The weakness of the company's management team is seen to be very aggressive and unplanned. Quota is never enough for permanent position. So you just keep recontracting every year. Though the benefits do not differ too much from permanent staff, but once there's retrenchment, all of us will loose out. Who knows right? So many unpredictable companies are having retrenchment nowadays.
