    Good place to work if you plan to coast.
    The good thingsPretty good working environment. Depending on manager, day to day can be quite chill.
    The challengesPace (and wage progression) can be very slow. SG site usually given saikang from HQ, so less opportunity to learn from cutting edge. Manager (and peers) may not be cream of the crop.

    Great learning for fresh/junior engineer
    The good things- Full of experienced and supportive colleagues. - Fast-pace environment and tightly collaborative working condition. - Comprehensive insurance package + aws + bonus. - Recently there are many new corporate activities for employees which create more fun to come to office.
    The challenges- Big corporate with slow career progress. - Salary is decent for fresh grad but harder to hold them on when they have families.

    Retirement home
    The good thingsAll departments are relatively relaxing & of zero stress (except Modules i.e. Diffusion, Wet Clean, Litho, Etch & etc.). Almost as if a retirement home. If you're capable, you will totally crush it in STM. However, you might find your professional career inadequate due to the lack of challenges presented.
    The challengesPolitical. Full of managers that do not want to participate in any sort of decision making. For ease of blame-shifting in case things go south. Full of engineers (from shift level up to device level) that do not know what they are doing & have no intention to further improve. Modules can be stressful at times.

    Liaising all audit closely with all external vendors to support operation.
    The good thingsA for me happy with this company because of my manager given me all his support and guide me. He also advise good advise and correct me when I did wrong. He also show me all the correct way to do the jobs and follow up me.
    The challengesI had been great challenge to join new department (Project Management teams) which i was formerly a manufacturing support supervisor for 10 years. From new challenge that i able to do a lot of project work such as hook up the new tools and also doing audit with all level.

    The good thingsSTMicro is very big company with staff care and much discipline. For the fresh graduate, it is good to start learning and working at the same time. STM will provide full start up training to all new employee. Encourage to join STM if you are interested in electronics or microelectronics.
    The challengesMulti task required as you are more and more experience. Technical skill alone is not enough, managing skill, social skill are also required. if need, we have to cross fertilization with other department, device or maintenance etc..
