My Experience at SPi GlobalThe good thingsSPi was particularly good when it came to community-centered activities and corporate social responsibility projects that engaged employees and piqued their voluntereism. All thoughout the year, various activities are carefully planned, whether it was building homes for the impoverished communities, book drives to far-flung places, community relief activities during disasters, etc.
The challengesCorporate social responsibility projects require careful planning and logistics. In many instances, there was a sense of lack of planning by the organizers. Although the activities are for the communities, the volunteers should have had complete buy-in into these activities so that expectations are managed appropriately.
