Gained a lot of exposure to banking operations in short time that I was there (4 years).
The good thingsGreat working hours and work-life balance. Colleagues are generally accommodating and friendly. Work environment has strong japanese culture presence, especially with communication and relations to upper management. Being courteous, polite, quiet, and detailed is expected from you.
The challengesMight be a culture shock to some. Work-wise, mistakes are not tolerated so they will give you ample time to perfect your work.
