    A meaningful role on paper, but the day-to-day experience can be challenging due to leadership.
    The good thingsCompetitive salary (usually higher) compared to similar roles in the sector Attractive leave benefits
    The challengesFrom experience, there were challenges related to HOD support in the Development Fund department, clarity of direction, and overall team culture. Expectations were not well-aligned or communicated clearly, which made it difficult to perform effectively. Contributions did not seem to be recognised or supported, leading to a less-than-ideal working environment. While the organization’s mission is commendable, the day-to-day experience in specific departments may vary. Doing thorough due diligence (e.g Glassdoor reviews) during the interview process is strongly recommended. This review is shared to provide additional perspective so jobseekers can make a more informed decision.

    Learned alot within these 4years of my service and would like to see and learn more from outpatient or home nursing.
    The good thingsGet to learn many things that I don’t get a chance to learn from any other jobs out side. I’ve been in NCID at the toughest point of Covid. I’ve been deployed to many many different disciplines including the EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT.
    The challengesSeeing different types of patient’s different types of behaviours dementia, delirium patients how to handle these patients behaviours. To catch their signs n symptoms early. Managed fall risks patients.

    The good thingsStaff benefits - leaves, bonus, flexi benefits I enjoy working with my colleagues.
    The challengesManagement takes staff for granted - OT but cannot get money or time off in less than certain amount of time depending on manager - never take staff feedback seriously / no actions or improvement to providing work life balance

    Only Suitable as a Stepping Board
    The good thingsLocation, decent salary and bonuses.
    The challengesNo work life balance if you work in admin departments. CEO's focus mainly on wellbeing of Medical, Nursing and Allied Health but not Admin. A lot of overtime because of unnecessary meetings eating into regular work hours, sometimes even before or after work hours. Can clock off days due to overtime requests by above but always no time to use the off days or leave to recuperate mental wellbeing.
