Friendly colleagues, decent salary but poor processes and system
The good thingsWork life balance is good, don't need to OT most of the time. Encourage flexible time and work wise. Good benefits like staff product allowance and discount.
The challengesTeam members are friendly but other teams may not be. Work gets pushed around department to department. Poor system, very manual.

    Great colleagues
The good thingsThe staff benefits, caring manager, friendly colleagues that are willing to guide and teach you. Most of them are patient.
The challengesI suggest improving the communications between staff and higher management. The management should seek to listen to staff's opinion before making any conclusion. Slow increment of pay even though you worked for many years. Some of the managers should go for training on communication amongst employees and try to be more humble.

What you do has an impact
The good thingsIn my internship experience, it was easily observable how my work had a direct impact on the business. This added meaning to the work I did, and there were many opportunities to learn the priorities of a retail business.
The challengesThe organisational structure is rather lean, and it is not immediately clear what career progression opportunities are available.
