You'll never get hungryThe good thingsI enjoy learning how to be a barista. There's more to it besides the job description. You're always on the move (i.e attending to customer's orders, preparing drinks/food, clearing stocks, cleaning as and when required) and it also helps one to be a little more flexible, physically. Most importantly, I've got a great team to work with. With a great team, even hard times are easy to get through.
The challengesWith the kind of work load, with the kind of physical strength required and with the kind of expectations customers and employers have on baristas, the pay is too low.
