Poor human resource management of Upper management team
The good thingsLess stringent SOP. You do what you like. Informal working environment, if you are looking for a casual working environment, this is the place.
The challengesThese are not challenges, these are the downsides of this company. They always give fault promises on incentives for top performing stores and the upper management can go silence after the period. Poor man power management. They also do external hiring for Outlet managers and senior outlet managers, putting those potential lower ranks on hold for career progression.

New Learning Admin Experience in F&B Company
The good thingsNOTHING AS YOU ARE WORKING ALL ALONE! The only good things are the kitchen staffs are friendly enough when approach for help.
The challengesThe challenges are really need to be multi tasking as besides processing daily orders, need to liase with mostly all the outlet manager for their daily production orders. And all other ad-hoc duties when assigned. Take minutes of meeting, process extra orders during occasions for all outlets.

    Past experience
The good thingsIt's a fun place to work at. Most of the staffs are very friendly & helpful.
The challengesYou have to work fast, as there is also food delivery apps like Deliveroo & FoodPanda. Sometimes there are big orders during lunch time from the customers & the delivery app. Other than that it's okay.

    Overall I enjoyed it
The good thingsFree staff meal, some fun colleagues to work with. Some customers are friendly too.
The challengesManaging peak hour. Having to serve even faster and sometimes things get messed up. So we quickly have to figure it out during the stress moment where customers are waiting for their order.

    Rewarding and Fun
The good thingsThe experience there exposed me to the F&B industry working lifestyle, with colleagues that were immensely helpful and patient in my learning process. My colleagues and managers were well-versed in their work, and this enabled me to assimilate to the flow of work quickly.
The challengesThe tough times come when the rush hour hits, where an influx of orders come in that leaves no room for relaxation or comfort. However, this also teaches me communication and work management skills in a stressful situation. At times, there comes a customer that are rowdy or aggressive and in the process can make it difficult to communicate with them. Communication and reasoning skills come into play here to deal with the situation.

    You'll never get hungry
The good thingsI enjoy learning how to be a barista. There's more to it besides the job description. You're always on the move (i.e attending to customer's orders, preparing drinks/food, clearing stocks, cleaning as and when required) and it also helps one to be a little more flexible, physically. Most importantly, I've got a great team to work with. With a great team, even hard times are easy to get through.
The challengesWith the kind of work load, with the kind of physical strength required and with the kind of expectations customers and employers have on baristas, the pay is too low.

Good company to work in for people seeking for cafe experience.
The good thingsThe environment is good, but however the atmosphere depends mainly on the manager and colleague you are working together. Most of the managers are good and they are equipped with wide range of knowledge about the menu and how to do it. The key to succeed in this company, is the always focus on SOP, Hygiene Standard, Friendly, and a pair of quick hands.
The challengesTeach and emphasis how to properly dissolve flavoured power in ice blended and hot coffee! They are a big turn off to customer!

It was a fun and enjoyable experience
The good thingsThe work environment and also knowledge in depth about being a barista, knowing the different types of coffee and tea, also to make gourmet. To know the basics of how to run a cafe
The challengesThe challenges are to face different thpes of customers and also when you are attached to another outlet . Their way of working is different from your own outlet. Therefore there may be misunderstandings among one another in completing the task due to the different culture another store has

The good thingsWe Are family here..working with commitment, helping each other, giving trust and respect to everyone and most specially giving extra mile and care. They are very professional in terms of work.they will explain to us our targets and giving strategies and key points on how to deal with it.
The challengesManning people is one of the challenge..since some of our staff are working students .If they really need to cancel their schedule they do so for us we need to replan again. But at the end of the day we still managed the needs.
