A little resilience goes a long way!
The good thingsThe work environment is free from politics and I have great colleagues. Additionally, I appreciate the leave benefits such as Birthday Leave and Family Care Leave.
The challengesProjects may undergo multiple changes throughout the process, but these changes are manageable.

Assisting colleagues and supervisor in Compliance matters
The good thingsIt is a family oriented environment, with due consideration given to the needs and welfare of staff. CEO, our HOD and HR are proactive about addressing staff concerns.
The challengesCertain challenges would present themselves in the form of queries from members of the public and practitioners alike, but these can be managed in consultation with the HOD.

The good thingsIt was a like a family environment. Got to know the good, the bad and the ugly sides of bosses and colleagues. Understanding from bosses was always there and that had always pushed me to work harder. I was never calculative about how much hours I gave put in.
The challengesHaving to deal with lawyers. Knowing the law, rules, legal procedures and the changes involved as the time went by. I wish they became automated before I left.

    Good learning platform
The good thingsSupport from other colleagues and a family-like culture. Good platform to learn about how to interact with the legal professionals and their writing styles. As a not-for-profit organisation, good training ground to learn how to manage without a huge budget.
The challengesLack of career opportunities and is very bureaucratic.
