Good environment, great first job experience
The good thingsHelpful and fun colleagues. After awhile I was given some sections to take care of and was given opportunities to choose and order titles for my sections. This job is good for students who are waiting for school after O levels or waiting for army.
The challengesI worked with a superior that was full of office politics. Ignoring her, working with everyone else was pleasant. The pay was very low when I worked there with no increment.

    Sum up regarding my experience
The good things- Caring manager - Job training termly - Yearly increment - Motivational testimonial claim - DIscounts in Times bookstore - Corporate mobile phone discount - Staff Appreciation Day
The challenges- Low increment - Detailed monthly report - Sometimes if you are not so lucky, the schools that you are posted to can be quite a challenge - When you are waiting for a confirmed school, you have to be a roving trainer - Only contract positions available

The good thingsIt's a big company and if one has a good working attitude, one will have the opportunity and will be able to go far.
The challengesThe hiring process. The company recently has been hiring too many foreigners and some may not have the appropriate skills or experience. The ones hired join the company and some are even put in a higher position than those who have been loyal and serving the company for some time. This causes unhappiness within the teams/departments.

The good thingsThe local colleagues are great! Very friendly and caring. Also, there are many benefits such as dental care and healthcare subsidy card.
The challengesThe management should look at its people for promotion instead of hiring non experience foreign talents to take the management roles. Because the so called foreign talents come from not so developed countries and their way of management does not suit the company at all. For example, random shouting during meetings. Also, too little editors to take on too many projects and the deadlines are terribl
