If they do not like you, you get faulted even if you are right.
The good thingsSorry, nothing good to say.
The challengesToxic working environment. Purposely make things difficult for new staffs. When you took initiative to help or practice new things and even if you make no mistakes, instead of giving you support and motivation, they reprimand you for it because you are newbie.

Good stepping stone into the society
The good thingsIt is a very comfortable and flexible working environment with diverse group of people to work with. You learn to work with classic and not break up pressure. Working here also encourages a work-life balance as well.
The challengesThis company currently does not practice salary increments for full-time non-executives and administrative roles. For current employees, internal transfers are highly recommended for career advancement and progression.

Review for TWG TEA COMPANY PTE LTD
The good thingsI joined the company in December 2011 as a rank and file worker (Chef de partie). The company has given me many opportunities. This includes courses which are fully sponsored for upgrading. They are also very open to ideas and suggestions and most importantly they recognise hard work and talent. I was also given many opportunities to travel overseas to help the company setup their new ventures.
The challengesAs in any working environment, we have to constantly upgrade and keep up with the current trends especially in the F&B sector. We face new challenges everyday and it is our duty as management in the company to overcome these challenges and value add to the company so that operations can be smooth and constantly improving. This challenges in turn also helped me to grow and become more experience.

Work life balance with a luxury firm
The good thingsColleagues are friendly and accepting. There is a lot of training opportunities for self improvement and product knowledge. Staff gets a holistic overview of the company when they get to work in the outlet and bring in understanding to apply when they work in the corporate office. Everyone who works here have international exposures and this is something that keeps you updated with global trends.
The challengesIt's definitely an international company but it's pretty much an SME management style. Structure is still refining as the company grows. A young team which may also limits experience sharing at times.
