From learning how to communicate and do sales, to having personal development in terms of mindset and attitude along with team building. The good thingsHaving one to one coaching for the first few weeks, followed by numerous mentorships by various individuals right till the end of my journey. The daily sharing by high performing individuals and the directors who are very transparent of every process and stages in this line of work brought not only mental maturity but also influenced my worldview in a more positive manner i.e not about the skills but the attitude and behaviour of an individual, GROWTH mindset, and many more.
The challengesChallenging the stigma of sales; It is not as what many expected. Not MLM, pyramid scheme, etc which I realised when I took time to understand this job but it's still difficult to convince others regarding what I do.
There's the aspect of mental challenge too. As the knowledge and skillset sharing happens on almost a daily basis with close mentorships, it's objectively not about whether the job is difficult or not but more of my own attitude and mentality wise i.e Do I want to succeed? How badly my desires to obtain as much knowledge as possible and to see my own personal growth?
Environment-wise, it's very different from the typical corporate 9-5 job where office politics are ever-present. In this company, many are willing to encourage and assist you in every step of the way, be it when you first joined or when you are gunning for the next advancement. Importantly, the willingness to learn and to succeed is greatly appreciated in this company where efforts correlates with results and not based on the circumstance or other's review of you.
