Australia. Toxic culture for so long so don't expect change. They will never see you can step up so don't expect promotion. Our pay doesn't meet the market rate. Good people are leaving and thriving better out there because there is no toxic managers. Turnover is so high
The good thingsMeet good coworkers and friends. You can work from home.
The challenges1. No proper direction. Blind leading the blind 2. Executive very unwilling to listen to our feedback and gets angry after hearing true feedback 3. Management team very unsupportive. Likes to put all the blame on the lower level staff if things go wrong 4. Under resources so we OT but no OT pay

Hybrid work arrangement ! Good staff welfare !
The good thingsStaff welfare has evolved tremendously over the years. With covid, the company has also adopted hybrid work arrangement. Office politic is almost non-existent at least in my department. Colleagues are extremely helpful during tough times. Many learning opportunities via internal trainings conducted outside my job scope.
    The challengesBetter remuneration perhaps

    Heavy Overtime and workload
The good thingsPeople are very nice, polite and friendly. Benefits are decent.
The challengesNot a third party administrator, company is own by client, hence there is no SLA, many things are demanded last minute or with unreasonable deadlines. Volume is huge, but not enough manpower to fulfill requests.

    Vistra has the worst management
The good thingsThe company brand is presentable.
The challengesVistra has the worst management. Office politics is very well practiced in all departments. Work load is not evenly distributed among team members. When the deadline is approaching and work load is not reduced, it will be treated as your are inefficient when you perform OT. Many times both Sat and Sun are required to work OT in the office but yet employees are not appreciated. Extremely stressful to work in this company.

This company always restructuring and cut cost
The good thingsSocial committee always organization activity for us
The challengesCurrently the company is restructuring, and shifting many of the jobs to Vistra Malaysia office. So Singapore office does not require that many employees.

Management Policy is the key to staff and clients' retention
The good thingsColleagues are helpful especially during the hard times of constant management policy changing.
The challengesEver changing management policies affect day-to-day client servicing efficiency and quality. Job scopes of the professionals hired were gradually changed, professional growth affected. Meretricious. Staff were not valued as asset in the organisation.
