Not a place to work with
The good thingsLocation and the hawker food are good
The challengesI have been working for many years in this company, during PB time everyone is so happy and enjoying. After WSP took over lots of things have changed. Things will never be the same as before. Work is getting more and more and everyone is very busy. The more years you work the more jobs are being assign but salary is always lower than the new comer. This is very sad for the people who stay long. If people don't like you they will just sack you.

The good thingsi am very happy and satisfied to work with my colleagues and my superiors. My superior used to let us learn and work by our own and would give us value advice and guidance.
The challengesContract is rather short, we would give more contribution to the company if contract is longer

Work team is good, really fund but negatively HR dept is always fast asleep, dont expect any response in any matters when asked, no communication, hence HR is always zzzzzz..
The good thingsWork team is good, really fund but negatively HR dept is always fast asleep, dont expect any response in any matters when asked, no communication, hence HR is always zzzzzz.. The company ensures that everyone has a conducive work environment by having a good workflow. But at end the communication between human resources is a failure.
The challengesThe career and growth opportunities here are limited because contract availability is up and down. But learning opportunities on work and job.

    Many redundant protocols
The good thingsGood colleagues while it still last.
The challengesManagement is terrible and many redundant protocols for simple task to get it done. Working overtime including weekends and PH is expected. To the management, it seems to them that if you are able to knock off work on time it's means to them that you have spare capacity to load on additional work. Client is always unhappy and losing hope with wsp because of the poor quality of work produced.

    Good place for starting out...
The good things- Many big projects - Good for fresh grads to start out as WSP can be a good place to learn and gain experience through big projects. - Most teams have good and experience leader to lead.
The challenges- Very high turnover rate. - Poor office management. - There are many redundant protocols and procedure to follow just to get a simple thing done. - Everyday you are expected and pressure to work overtime including weekends due to shortage of manpower with no meal allowance or any overtime benefits.

    Typical hierarchical office culture
The good thingsPracticed on software i previously lost touch with. Managed a few projects and increased experience
The challengesManagement kind of bias. New staff subjected to more strict reviews etc. Staff turnover rate quite high depending on project manager in charge.

    My own opinion
The good thingsI was just amazed that through phone interview, they offer me a job and give me even a little increment every end of contract..although my salary is low ,i just stay until a project is finish. This is how i show my loyalty to any company that give me opportunity to work with.
The challengesThe only thing that i found seems difficult is communication with our main office, since i was assigned in site.Company email once your login expired it will take long time to reconnect.you have to call HR so that they inform IT dept.

    Workplace experience
The good thingsI enjoyed the staff in the company as they were very friendly and willing to help.
The challengesToo much overtime work and too little benefits. There wasn't even a meal allowance for overtime works and often the overtime would mean working till at least 10pm daily (on average). The pay was below average and the bonus was miserable. For me and the department to have worked so hard, we would have at least expected a good bonus. But instead, the bonus was very much lower than other departments
