Building self confidence and trustworthy with the company in working independant environment.
The good thingsHaving an opportunity to learn so much about warehousing with the senior collegues. I am given an independant role to execute daily job routine, which helps to build trust and show my experiences and abilites to the company.
The challengesThe company has little room for employee further progression and upgrading skill programmes.

Workload doesn't match salary, salary not mkt rate
The good thingsGood environment to meet people from different aspects. Minority customers and teachers are nice. Seen ex and current artistes at our store to purchase piano or enquire on courses.
The challengesThe weakness of the company's management team is seen in managerial levels are not helpful. All selfish. Everyone settle their own issues by own experiences. Management do not assist in anyway. Push fault to others all the time. Sit and relax while branch staff handle angry customers or teachers all by themselves. Salary is not on par with market rate. Non-stop phone calls, walk-in customers, admin work, teachers problems, parents/student's unhappiness about teachers etc. Workload unlimited but pay low.. Enquiries alot but little sales. All time used to serve customers enquiries until no chance to sell Instrument.

    Not just a sales job.
The good thingsThe staff and manager are helpful and knowledgeable in doing business and meeting customer's needs. You will learn a lot about dealing with business. The best part is, company send us for product training and customer service skills. You get to learn music at a discounted price. Play instrument during free time. Not a boring job for someone who loves music.
The challengesLearning how to use the system. After a few weeks you will get the hang of it. And also serving customer from all walks of life. You will get to meet some local musicians as well. We have a wide range of music product and recommending them to customer is a challenge but you will get product training.
