Poor Management Promises, But Some Good People-The management often makes verbal promises but frequently delays taking real action. -There are talks of raises or promotions, but the job scope doesn't really change, and the salary increase is typically only 2–3% a year. -There’s no transparent performance evaluation or promotion criteria—if your superior likes you, you’ll thrive. -Many managers lack the capability their positions demand, yet they often tell others to "learn more" instead of improving themselves. On a positive note, I had the opportunity to work with Sr Manager Eddie for a period of time. I believe he is one of the most capable people at YCH. He’s not just theoretical—he truly has in-depth knowledge and strong networks in warehouse and freight operations. Even if it’s a different department, as long as you're willing to approach him, he’s always willing to help. P.S. — he may look a bit scary haha!

Bad experience, training kept getting distracted as mentor have to train more than 1 personnel. Learning was made difficult due to system downtime.

Over work forced to perform OT until 10 or 11pm daily
The good thingsLearn a lot of experience. Stepping stone to build to gain more experience and career wise.
The challengesWorked here in 2014. Very long hours. Weekdays will have to go back earliest after 8pm. If you don't OT, you will be super busy and rushing the next day in the morning as the driver is all waiting for you. Too many PRC that are unable to speak or write Simple English. Hopefully things change for now. The worst place so far.

Great Local Logistic Company with Rich History
The good thingsGood Learning Environment and People Developing. Great place for those who just started their career as they are pro-learning and has a conducive environment for learning.
The challengesChallenging Business Climate forces the Company to keep changing with time and pace. Fast pace at times. But its both a good thing as well for learning individuals. Therefore, work hours might be long.

The good thingsMy favorite parts of my last job included the ability to work independently (trust from employers) & the people I worked with. It’s great to work with people that care about their company and doing a good job. It’s hard to find that environment today because so many people just don’t care about honesty, hard work & integrity.
The challengesIt is very stressful / difficult when a project you have put your heart and soul into gets stopped for a reason you cannot affect, such as budget or strategic changes. Difficult to change the mind set of old staff.

    Great Opportunity To Start
The good thingsWell organised system and everything is completely up to business standard. Colleagues are so helpful to teach new trainee or newcomers based on their experience. Work environment is great if you love to work in a busy and high standard quality. Company benefits attracts the most when comes to bonding. Management is in a good rapport with their staffs and this will make the work stress free.
The challengesThe challenges is that you will need to be alert and accuracy is the most important to work in this line. In shipping line you will need to work in a consistently manner. It requires you to be able to multi task. Every job has their own kind on challenges. It challenged your patience, your initiative to learn new things everyday, encourage you to move forward rather than do the same thing daily.
