Caring for others, at the expense of staff wellbeing
The good thingsSenior Management are committed to staff wellbeing, drives positive changes. Walk the talk and participative.
The challengesWhile Senior management are committe to staff wellbeing, Line management ROs, Supervisors) depersonalise staff, treats staff as mere workers instead of treating staff as unique autonomous individuals worthy of respect.

Suitable for candidates who seeks for a stable job.
The good thingsColleagues are friendly and helpful, consider good pay and increment every year, as well as management do acknowledge your consistency on attendance and they do give rewards to those who work hard! Giving good roll calls to update yourself at all times, and managers are willing to guide you on handling difficult situations.
The challengesBe patience with all different kinds of patients, being aware of your surroundings as to what it may comes. You need to really know your SOP and procedures at all times to not make silly mistakes. Still have plenty rooms for improvements, and as a staff you're able to voice your opinions too.

    Dynamic and nurturing workplace
The good thingsThe position is not just a desk-bound job, providing a mix of front-end and back-end responsibilities including large dataset analysis to polyclinic learning visits to on-the-ground health screening participation. The workplace is open-plan but with lots of staff welfare amenities such as staff lounge, greenery outside the window, and protected workout time. Northpoint recently opened its new wing, providing even more top-notch and accessible lunch options.
The challengesHealth screenings and report collection involve interacting with the public, especially elderly and poorly literate patients, who may have different perceptions of what a healthcare executive can do. Gentle redirection of their queries and concerns in a clear and concise way was one unexpected task.

    Enlightening and refreshing
The good thingsThere's an open and honest culture in general. The culture is heavily geared towards service and improving patient experience. Fantastic culture of healthy living and great that there is a firm focus on promoting healthy activities. Good mix of clinician and non-clinicians in the senior management.
The challengesSalary and benefits may be a slightly under what other hospitals might offer (possibly).
