Law Firm with Great Culture (Management Perspective)The good thingsThe firm truly does put an emphasis on growing its talent (as far as a law firm's constraints will allow) and respecting their lives outside of work, and has accordingly implemented flexible work arrangements to help its staff. Firm is also truly like a family, and hierarchy is relatively flat. Our trainees also generally share that they have a better sense of the legal business and appreciate their training with us.
The challengesMedium firms have medium firm issues - don't expect a big library (though ours is decent) or tons of online resources (though again we have relatively good access to precedents), or work trips like the big firms do. Legal clients are also the same everywhere one goes.
