The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
Job Description:
- Business owner of Digital Products category, carries end-to-end responsibility of P&L, growth, and customer experience of the category
- Define, implement and execute business growth strategies for Digital Products
- Continuously analyse market conditions and competitors to ensure products offered remain highly competitive in the market
- Retain and optimise existing key partners, as well as establish new strategic partnerships to drive overall category performance
- Work closely with internal function stakeholders, incl. Marketing, Product, Legal, Ops etc to execute projects aligned with business growth objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any field, with at least 5 years of working experience in corporate strategy or business development
- Prior working experience in e-commerce, telco, utilities or fintech industry will be an added advantage
- Experienced in leadership roles, with a proven track record of team management skills
- Possess strong business acumen and commercial savviness
- Exceptional communication and project management skills, able to foster strong relationship both internally and externally
- Highly analytical and able to generate meaningful and actionable analysis; Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
