Assistant Manager, Entertainment
Job Summary
The Assistant Manager, Entertainment plays a key role in supporting the operational and administrative functions of the Entertainment team within a large scale integrated resort environment. This position contributes to the successful execution of high profile live entertainment, VIP, and special events across the resort, ensuring alignment with Marina Bay Sands' standards and strategic objectives. The role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
Job Responsibilities
Marketing & Campaign Support
- Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Social Media teams, and internal and external event promoters to plan and execute promotional campaigns for shows and entertainment events.
- Coordinate and collate marketing content for posting across the company's Entertainment social media channels, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and brand alignment.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive briefs for the creation of marketing collaterals, including digital assets, social media content, and promotional materials.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and flag insights, executional gaps, or implementation adjustments to Marketing teams to enhance reach and engagement.
- Stay updated on industry trends in social media, entertainment, and hospitality to support campaign planning and activation ideas.
- Support on-ground activations, artist content coordination, and post campaign reporting where required.
Event Coordination & Execution
- Assist in the sourcing, booking, scheduling, contracting, and management of artists and special event requirements for: Sands Live Concert Series featuring major A list Western and Asian artists; Casino Private Events held in ballrooms or theatres; Special Events such as Chinese New Year, Christmas, red carpet events, and movie premieres.
- Serve as Event Manager for assigned Marina Bay Sands events, under the guidance of senior Entertainment management, ensuring smooth on site execution.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including Technical Production, Accommodation, Food & Beverage, Transportation, BOH/FOH teams, and Ticketing, to fulfill artist and event requirements.
- Liaise with Legal and Procurement teams to draft, review, and execute artist contracts, ensuring compliance with internal processes and timely approvals.
- Track contract status, approvals, and key milestones, escalating risks or delays where necessary.
- Ensure events are delivered in compliance with relevant licensing, safety, and internal operational standards.
Administrative & Departmental Support
- Provide administrative support to the Entertainment management team, including scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
- Assist in budget tracking, invoice processing, and procurement requests related to entertainment activities.
- Maintain accurate records of artist contracts, event logistics, and departmental documentation.
- Prepare post event reports and assist with event debriefs where required.
- Maintain trackers for event status, budgets, forecasts, and approvals to support operational planning.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
- Degree in Events Management, Arts & Entertainment, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in event marketing, coordination or entertainment preferred.
- Candidates with relevant and substantial experience may be assessed for a more senior role.
- Working knowledge of major social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Little Red Book (Xiaohongshu) will be considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools or basic technical drawings is an advantage.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by event schedules.
- Experience working in a matrixed, fast paced, or highly regulated operational environment is an advantage.
