Merchandising Executive
Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of category and merchandising strategies across retail stores.
Assist in store layout planning and the implementation of planograms to ensure optimal product placement and presentation.
Coordinate with vendors on purchase orders, cost and pricing updates, and basic negotiations under supervision.
Prepare and maintain regular reports on sales performance, stock levels, and inventory movement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders on new item creation and maintain accurate item master data and product information.
Monitor stock levels and sales performance, identify potential issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Support category-related initiatives, including new product launches, promotional campaigns, assortment reviews, and store revamps.
🧭 What We’re Looking For
Diploma or Degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in retail, merchandising, buying, or FMCG, preferably within a multi-category environment.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Basic negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables; familiarity with systems such as SAP or Power BI will be an advantage.
A collaborative team player who is organised, hands-on, and execution-focused.
