Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a curious and driven Diploma IT Intern to join our IT Department across three focus areas: AI initiatives, business process automation, and e-commerce development, You will work on real, live projects that shape the future of our business, from building our online sales presence to deploying AI tools that make our teams work smarter.

Responsibilities

1) AI Initiatives

• Assist in researching, testing, and deploying AI tools to improve internal productivity and customer-facing operations
• Help build and refine AI-powered features such as chatbots, document processing, smart search, or automated responses
• Support prompt engineering and fine-tuning of AI models for business-specific use cases
• Stay up to date with AI trends and recommend relevant tools or solutions to the team

2) Automation & Internal Tools

• Help develop scripts and automated workflows to reduce manual, repetitive tasks across departments
• Assist in automating processes such as order tracking, quotation generation, shipment updates, and management reporting
• Support system integrations using APIs or automation platforms
• Document automation workflows for handover and future maintenance

3) E-Commerce Development

• Assist in building and maintaining our e-commerce platform for spare parts and marine products
• Help manage product listings, catalogues, pricing, and online order workflows
• Support integration between the e-commerce platform and internal systems such as inventory, orders, and logistics
• Assist with testing, bug fixes, and ongoing platform improvements
